There are masses of manufacturers promoting their products purely on the silver content. Silver is in hifi fashion right now, fact.
Silver differs from copper in that it is about 6% more conductive. However, the conductivity of the cable only contributes possibly 5% of the overall performance of a cable for audio signal use. There are many, many more design factors and specifics which are far more important: capacitance and inductance being just two which are infinitely more important than conductivity.
Our OCC copper signature interconnects sound much better than 99% of ‘pure’ silver interconnects available today – the grain structure is continuous, and the wire itself optimised for audio use through an audio-industry specific cryogenic treatment process to produce the best sounding cable possible.
Please don’t be lead astray by manufactures selling based on the materials used alone: design and engineering are much higher factors in the performance of a cable, all of which have been considered when putting together our signature range.
